9 percent of homes in the US still have no Internet, with an additional 11 percent using a smartphone-only solution.
- 65 percent of American households have true broadband (25 Mbps download) speeds, which is a 2 percent improvement compared to a year ago.
Many parts of rural America still have Internet access based on DSL, which provides poor download speeds and even worse upload speeds.
